Frederick Fear Fest is a nonprofit celebration of horror and dark genre storytelling, dedicated to showcasing bold voices in independent film while giving back to the local community.
Beyond the screen, we’re committed to using fear for good—supporting efforts to combat homelessness in Maryland through festival proceeds and partnerships. We believe horror can spark empathy, build connection, and bring people together in unexpected and meaningful ways.

Accepted Films will receive ONE Free VIP Pass, with additional passes and General Admission Passes available throughout the festival. Additionally accepted projects will be given a goodie bag!
